Thousands of students faced difficulties due to limited train availability and a lack of awareness from the railway about the ground realities. Previously, similar overcrowding occurred during the recruitment exam for police constables. The railway has implemented holiday special trains, but these are on routes that already have existing trains, with no special arrangement for Hazaribagh. The railway's approach towards Hazaribagh Town is not favorable. The Koderma Ranchi rail line has been completed for two years, but the Koderma Barakarana passenger train hasn't been extended to Ranchi despite requests for expansion. The situation has worsened after the Prime Minister's announcement of a rail coaching depot in Hazaribagh Town.

Railway ne Ranchi Patna aur Ranchi Bhagalpur exam ke liye special train chalaayi, lekin yeh train Hazaribagh ke liye nahi thi. Railway ko ground ki situation ka pata nahin hai, isliye bahar se aaye students ko bohot problem ka saamna karna pada. Pehle bhi, police constable ki exam ke liye students ko train me bheed ki wajah se difficulties hui thi. Railway Dussehra, Diwali aur Chhath ke liye special train chala raha hai, lekin yeh train aise routes pe hain jahan pehle se trains hain. Hazaribagh ke liye koi special arrangement nahi kiya gaya hai. Railway ka Hazaribagh Town ke prati attitude achcha nahi hai. Koderma Ranchi rail line do saal pehle complete ho gayi thi, lekin Koderma Barakarana passenger train ko Ranchi tak extend nahi kiya gaya. dispatched a rescue team to the site. The incident occurred near Tunnel Number 2 between Sidhwar and Sankee, where a boulder fell on the track as an engine was approaching from Sankee to Barkakana. The boulder became lodged under the engine's front, dragging it for about 100 meters into the tunnel. About 100 sleepers on the railway track were damaged, and the track became twisted in multiple places. The railway is using nets to prevent rockfalls, but the large boulder breached the nets. The rescue team is working to remove the boulder from beneath the engine. As a result of the incident, the Vande Bharat Express and other express trains operating on the Barkakana-Ranchi via Sankee BIT Mesra route have been diverted. The Patna-Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express and the Asansol-Hatia-Asansol Express, which used to travel via Barkakana, Sidhwar, Hehal, Sankee, BIT Mesra, Tatisilwai, and Ranchi, will now take the Muri route to reach Barkakana. The changes are in effect until further notice.

The impact caused damage to the railway track, including the destruction of approximately 100 sleepers and track distortion. While no casualties were reported, the railway management is currently working to remove the rock. As a result, the Dhanbad Railway Division has diverted the route of the Vande Bharat Express and another express train on the Barakarana Ranchi via Saki BIT Mesra route. The trains, which typically travel via Barakarana, Sidhwar, Hehal, Sanki, BIT Mesra, Tati Silve, and Ranchi, will now use the Muri route to reach Barakarana. The change in route will cause a delay of over an hour for passengers traveling from Barakarana to Ranchi. The Vande Bharat Express and the Asansol-Hatia-Asansol Express will both travel via Barakarana-Muri-Ranchi until further notice, with train numbers 22349-22350 and 13513-13514 respectively.

Wednesday, departing from Hatia at 3:00 PM and arriving in Asansol at 11:40 PM. The 13513 Asansol-Hatia Express will commence on Thursday, departing from Asansol at 4:10 AM and reaching Hatia at 2:00 PM. The train will run five days a week, excluding Tuesdays and Fridays. The train will stop at Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, Maheshmunda, New Giridih, Jamua, Dhanwar, Navadih, Maheshpur, Koderma, Barhi, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana, Mesra, Tatisilwai, and Ranchi in both directions. Meanwhile, the police in Deoghar have found the body of an unidentified 65-year-old man near the railway tracks at Deoghar station. The cause of death is suspected to be natural, and the police are awaiting post-mortem results to confirm.
