नई 20 कोच वाली ट्रेन से यात्रियों को अधिक सीटें मिलेंगी और यात्रा का समय भी कम होगा। इस ट्रेन का पहला ट्रायल रन 9 अगस्त को होगा, जिसमें अहमदाबाद से सुबह 7:00 बजे रवाना होकर ट्रेन दोपहर 12:15 बजे मुंबई सेंट्रल पहुँचेगी। ट्रायल रन के दौरान 130 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की गति से ट्रेन की गति, स्थिरता और सुरक्षा का परीक्षण किया जाएगा। 'मिशन रफ्तार' परियोजना के तहत रेलवे मार्ग पर ट्रेन की गति बढ़ाने का लक्ष्य है, जिससे यात्रा का समय 45-60 मिनट तक कम हो सकता है। यह परियोजना लगभग पूरी हो चुकी है और इससे यात्रियों को अधिक आरामदायक और कुशल यात्रा का अनुभव मिलेगा।
