Five pairs of trains will be diverted via Sambalpur City Station: 18126/18125 Puri-Rourkela-Puri Express, 12879/12880 LTT-Bhubaneswar-LTT Express, 22865/22866 LTT-Puri-LTT Express, 20471/20472 Lalgarh-Puri-Lalgarh Express, and 20813/20814 Puri-Jodhpur-Puri Express. These diverted trains will have a 5-minute stop at Sambalpur City Station for passenger convenience. The modernization project will increase the station's capacity and improve passenger and goods traffic service. In return, train number 09042, the Chhapra to Vadodara special train, will run on two trips on July 2 and 9. Departing from Chhapra station at 12 pm, it will arrive in Bayana at 6:20 pm the next day, Gangapur City at 7:59 pm, Sawai Madhopur at 9:05 pm, Kota at 10:30 pm, and reach Vadodara station at 7 pm.
