However, the inaugural journey faced a disruption due to a dispute between the loco pilots from Kota and Agra. The Agra loco pilots were initially denied access to the train by their Kota counterparts, leading to a confrontation at the Agra Cantt station. The situation was resolved after the intervention of RPF and GRP personnel and the Agra loco pilots were eventually allowed to operate the train.
