Central Railway is partially canceling and diverting trains due to doubling work between Sangli and Miraj. The Banaswadi-Tumakuru and Tumakuru-Shivamogga DEMU Express Specials will be converted to MEMU trains starting January 15th. South Western Railway is rescheduling some train services due to maintenance work at Yalvigi, Savanur, and Karajgi stations. They are also operating a special express train between Yesvantpur and Kochuveli to handle extra passengers during Sankranti Festival. The special train (06235) will depart Yesvantpur on January 13th at 11:55 PM and arrive in Kochuveli the next day at 7:10 PM. The return train (06236) will depart Kochuveli on January 14th at 10 PM and arrive in Yesvantpur the next day at 4:30 PM.
