I travelled in 12461 Mandore express on 6/8/2019 from DLI-JP. Class - 2A. My observations were:
1. Punctuality - I reached DLI at around 2005 hrs or so and the train was already there on PF 3 with personnels loading the parcels in rear utkrisht SLR. The train departed bang on time at 2120. At DEC it reached with a delay of around 5 mins. It reached jaipur dot on time and I barely missed my station (slept again after I woke up at 0145 hrs). Rating - 5/5
2. Cleanliness & maintainance...
more... - The train was clean inside out. Even GEN coaches looked good. In 2A the vestibule, toilet, passenger area were clean. Though my coach was old one with small windows but was well maintained. The bedding (2 besdsheets, a handtowel, a pillow, a blanket) provided was clean and crisp. Rating - 5/5
3. Food - After I entered the circulating area and moved towards the PF 1-5, it was hard to find a proper food joint except Macdonalds (I didnt explore much, but I guess I passed through a major area where food joints should be, just like NDLS) . On PF there were few stalls which had Janta khana (poori-subji), rajma-chawal, egg curry - chawal. I took egg curry - rice, costing rs. 40 and it was totally cold & bland. Better look for hotels outside as when I exit metro gate no. 3, i saw some joints on other side of road. Water, packaged food are available on the PF stalls. In train, private vendors roam in coach taking order for dinner, since didnt take it (or saw it), so no comments on that. Rating - 2/5.
4. Security - Ample no. of RPF personnels present in the train and also on PF of DLI & JP. Also TTE doesnt allow unauthorised pax in AC class. Rating - 5/5.
Overall an excellent train, just like what an overnight train should be.
