FIRST LHB RUN OF 12082 THIRUVANANTHAPURAM- KANNUR JANSHATABDI EXPRESS

First LHB Run of TVC-CAN Janshatabdi was on October 16,2024. Celebrations were held at Thiruvananthapuram Central by us Railfans of Kerala in co-ordination with Railway officals and Staffs.ROYAPURAM(RPM) WAP7 #37580 in Independence Day livery did the honours, while also matching with the new rake!

Janshatabdi was initially an Extended service from CLT. Previously Introduced as Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Jan-Shatabdi, via Kottayam, on 20th Jan 2011, which was extended upto Kannur on 2nd August 2013 due to public demand.
16th Oct 2024, that is yesterday, LHB rakes have been allotted.

& punctuality are commendable.(Constant MPS except for PSR or TSR,gets superb priority and controlling)
Usually no unnecessary/unscheduled stops. (My journey had only a 30sec halt at Lalgudi!)
Best morning option to TPJ from MS
Air conditioning is also pretty good.

Recommended to travel,it is a railfans dream to see it skip VRIDDHACHALAM JUNCTION at 110!

This is also the only train skipping VILLUPURAM Junction!
