It is only during morning time. The problem is trains terminate here and Railways takes a LOT of time to remove those trains from the platforms. For eg, the Krishak and Pushpak often remain standing for over an hour before being removed from the platforms. The Chitrakoot Express often remains standing for five plus hours and goes back as Lucknow - Barauni Express. And in the afternoon, when stuff like Shatabdi, Intercities from Jhansi, Agra, Meerut and Gorakhpur come, the platforms fill up fast.

PATARA (PTRE) is small station with only one platform on CNB - MKP section under NCR, VGLJ div. It is hardly 500m from NH 34 (old NH 86) locally called as Hamirpur Road. It lies in Kanpur Nagar District.

It will never end. Nor the so called City Based Railfan clubs would allow or want to end it.
I'm happy at least Railways themselves made an update, and tagged it a city based "pride train", which is best to connect Prayagraj & New Delhi.
Why should city like Mathura, Agra, Gwalior, VGLB, Khajuraho, Banda, Chitrakoot to allow train to be called a "pride" which doesn't even passes through these cities?

Basically all the trains terminating at Jabalpur that don't have Primary Maintenance based there would be targets regardless of destination or demand from Jabalpur. PM waali trains SECR lega nahi because phir facilities develop karni padegi, SECR would rather construct a full fledged Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction like Freight Yard before even thinking about going for a Pitline. You never know, to get rid of headache of parking the rake for long hours Jabalpur might let it go. Waise bhi bharegi Jabalpur se hi, only headache would be incoming rush for stations like Maihar, Satna, Chitrakoot from extended portion; going to Lucknow all the way would be a relatively Jabalpur based activity.

Fir to jada options hai hi nhi extensions k. Most of non PM trains of JBP are intercities jinka layover kam hai. Long distance non PM trains shyd bas Humsafar or Chitrakoot hi hai. Jisme se mujhe to phle lgta tha ki Chitrakoot ka bhi PM JBP ko hi kr lena chaahie RSA break krwa k. LJN or JBP dono pe sufficient layover h. Bas LJN apne yard me parking de de isko.
