First I thought some new Ghat restriction came that they reduced one coach because it has happened before when suddenly Braganza Ghat trains restricted to max 20 ICF coaches years back.
But checked Amaravati express CC on one YouTube video and no coach reduced in it still SHM portion running with 19 coaches and KCG with 4 coaches. So I waited for some more information to come.
Personally I don't have a problem in divisions transferring coaches. But the issue is they reduced AC coaches without checking the availability of GS coaches...

Recently they also downgraded YPR Hassan ICE from LHB to ICF for giving it's GS coaches to other trains.

I'm cool with divisions shuffling coaches, but the prob is they axed AC coaches without making sure there were enough GS coaches to take their place. It's a hit to Railways' pockets and a pain for us passengers.
