My first journey story,that too alone (for 2nd time) and none of my family members know about it!!.Please read and excuse my English (being a Bengali medium student,I shall try best to write).
This all started when I just passed out of my school in June,2017 and got admitted to a college in July,'17.After school,And becoming 18...the so called adult...I became to show that I am can take care of myself and can go anywhere alone.But as usually my family members were very possessive towards their darling,ie,Me.Though on weekends,I went to my father's home at Howrah,from Singur...about 30 kms journey only...I planned to do something different this time!!!

idea of exploring unexplored section spread out in my nerves!!I still don't remember why & how an idea of visiting Jhargram poped into my mind....secretly I started doing all the plannings inside myself!!
**It was not a lot of planning but surely it was lot to me!!!..I was too greedy to take a glimpse of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via-Tata...so set out on the very day of Asthami during Durga Puja Festival citing my Mother that I am going to make a small early morning trip to an SER destination,Abada,where i preferred RFing...and then I would visit my Father's place and return in evening...

**On 28th September 2017....I alone... without any companion set out for Jhargram....Money was a major factor to me....and I wanted to complete my journey in the cheapest manner possible as I am too much concerned not to waste my money....hence At 3 AM,I woke up and got ready to board the first Local train from Singur at 04:20 to Howrah...(My family members didn't feel odd as the knew I go RFing early in morning many times)...I boarded the local & I had a monthly till Shrirampur....I still continued in the train till Liluah,got down there and bought another ticket to Sardiha, bcos till JGM would have costed me more Rs 10.In another EMU,I reached Howrah at 05:30 AM.
**Some SER local was given on platform No.13 and it departed at 05:50...just ahead of Dhauli Express.Howrah station was rather empty but not too much due to Durga Puja vacations.The Jamalpur Express was on Pf9,Kumbh arrived on Pf12,Ranchi Shatabdi on Pf11,Malda Passenger on Pf5,Gaya Express on Pf4.
**My local departed at 05:50...I deboarded at SRC at 06:15 only to find Rupasibangla Express was shunted on platform and ANVT-SRC Exp of previous day had just arrived 12+ Hrs. late.Madras Mail was having PM.The ANVT-SRC Exp went to Carshed and Rupasi departed.Dhauli passed in slow pace followed by Barbil JanShatabdi & a local train to Digha.
**Now my train arrived... Santragachi-Jhargram MEMU... Passenger hurried into the compartments and it departed within 3 Mins.The train cruised through the beautiful Bengal... skipping many roadside stations & important stations...We Xinged with SER majorities...Late running Sri Jagannath,an LHB train,dozon of EMU & 2 MEMU,some passenger,Steel Exp p7,PRR-HWH Exp p4...etc,just after Balichak, parallel action started between our local & Ispat Express...till KGP outer,where it was given priority...the ETS had 2 GZB P7,a couple of SRC P4s and many freight locos.we arrived KGP with minor delay of 8 Mins.
**A lot of vendors were selling pre-packed Breakfast which seemed not hygienic to me...I could not resist a cup of coffee.It was very grand situation for me to be on one of the Longest platforms of world.Also saw the scissor crossing.As soon as we departed...Falaknuma was announced.As the train criss-crossed through outer and took turn leftwords...I got confused where we were going...a track went straight (later understood it was down track from TATA & BBS side)..and a single track took right turn which was none but to Midnapur.We started to cruise in full throttle through lot of yards and goods loco...also a MEMU & EMU parking shed.
**We went past Khemasuli and I started to record the debris of ill fated Gyaneswari Express...the twin freight loco's skeleton...and arrived Sardiha...where my ticket ends...but still I continued...and arrived Banstala...in the middle of a jungle...a fear ran down my spine....years ago... Rajdhani which was hijacked in this forest guarded station....our train Xinged with some ECoR train with P4 (maybe Neelanchal/Nandankakan one)...arrived Jhargram with delay of 15 Mins. And took a round around the station & boarded the same JGM-SRC MEMU and deboarded at Sardiha...now I was a bit nervous there...though it had locality all around... freights standing in loop lines & continuous announcement of KGP-TATA PGR. which was running late due to overtake by Pune Duronto which I captured.Hell crowded the train was....it left & station became deserted....started RFing with my camera... Ahmedabad Express & Gitanjali Express both p4.Then there was Haldia Express with p5 to Delhi.It was already afternoo and I relaxed and munched on my biscuits and tracking Rajdhani...I was following IRI time tabe which showed Rajdhani passing time at Sardiha...but actually it passed about 6 mins before time which I couldn't imagine.It was powered by HWH WAP7.Then Ranchi Intercity passed with a sore throat type honking SRC P4!!
HWH-GTS MEMU arrived and departed.Now,It was my time to return and I went to down platform and a young doctor & a lady doctor and also a senior member of their nearby sub centre hospital came & started discussing their job related problems...they sat beside me...I couldn't sit on bench because it was rather too hot...the green carpet of grass was raather preferable to me and most of the co-passengers.A newly wedded couple (probably destined to Puri;got to know from their speech) also arrived and started spend the romantic time.Actually due to delay of the MEMUs...all of us were sitting in like a round table conference....again we were joined by another man....Then it was announced Purulia-Jhargram-Kharagpur local is running 2 hours late & GTS HWH MEMU is 1 hour late....
**Now,I got a bit nervous thinking of if i would be able to return home in time....and if i didn't do...then my mother would really get angry at me...In mean time,Up BBS Raj p7 honked and I took a video....then i took suggestions from the co-passengers what to do....they told me to board Purulia MEMU & take any express to Howrah...so finding no other option...I boarded the MEMU till Kharagpur & then Aranyak Express till Andul (with ORD ticket) in SLR coach.The charge of my phone got exhausted and I didn't even had a power bank...I was like Extreme tired & wanted to eat & sleep anyhow...Aranyak Express stopped at Panskura and I bought 4 "alu-chop"...for what Panskura is famous....they were really delicious to my empty tummy....
**Aranyak Express stopped at Andul before taking Bypass flyover to SRC.I got down and got local to Howrah...I was much early beyond my expectations...got down at Pf13 of Howrah and ran towards Pf2 where Andolon local was ready to depart....arrived Home at 20:30 and none could know I went to such a long distance trip all alone......
**My next wishes to explore the unexplored sections are...

Though I was a bit nervous all along the trip,but this trip gained me courage & I enjoyed every bit & part of it...What more do I want??Now I even have a great companion cum Rf friend with whom I went to another Rf trip to Gede.It was also a thrilling experience as that very day,we spotted 4 International trains,2 Maitree Express (IR & BR) and a pilgrim Spl and a Player's Spl.Will share that experience shortly!!!

Aaj subah BDTS -LKO apne right time se nikli iske lagbhag 2 hrs bad NZM JS aai .mai 54793 passanger ki help se KNDP se SMBJ gaya aur waha se maine 12059 li.
12059 ne shandar run dikhaya . Ye apne time se 14 min late chal rahi thi jo ki mere liye bahut bada risk tha .
Bayana junction ke departure ke 5 min bad iski chain khich gai aur iska kafi time waste hua
Fir bhi 12059 ne haar nahi mani aur mujhe is par poora yakeen tha. Aur aakhir kar isne wo kar dikhaya jo ye hamesha se karti rahi h. Ye train accurate 10:15 par MTJ land kar gai . Ab mere pas 10 min bache the jo ki mere liye kafi the ....
Aur is prakar mere vishwas ki ek bar fir jeet hui....
India ki fastest JS jiska schedule kafi tight h wo ye kamal karti h to ye wakai tarif karme layaka hi baat h.
Aur fir mera route to hamesha se best raha h aur aage bhi rahega.....
Aaj ke jamane me jaha baki route par trains 20-25 hrs tak ki deri se aari h. Is route par 1 hr delay bhi mayne rakhta.....

The Train Departs Bang on Time from Source with A TKD Alco/EMD Till Ahmedabad on All 4 days of Journey from Delhi Sarai Rohilla, departs almost 4-5 mins late from Delhi Cantt & Same delay from Gurgaon. The Occupancy is Almost 50% from All these 3 Stations.The Trains gives an MPS Run till Khalilpur(A Station before Rewari) & Usually takes 5-7mins Unscheduled halt there, Rewari Departure is Almost 15-17mins Delayed(Sometimes On Time Also) from Platform 1, Almost 100-120 Passengers Board from Rewari. You can See Double Stack containers Between Pf3 to Pf7. The Train crosses it's Return Train 12216 BDTS - DEE GR at Rewari itself which reaches at Pf3, so sometimes passengers are confused that which train to board although regular announcements are made at Rewari Station.

Train Gives MPS run till Alwar Jn and usually maintains delay till Alwar. From Alwar Sometimes delayed 12403 Allahabad - Jaipur Express is given precedence, so GR Will trail it till Jaipur. Lunch order is taken post Alwar Jn. Usually at Rajgarh Crossing happen with Jaipur - Alwar. Post Alwar u will run on gap of 10-15mins with 19264 DEE - Porbander exp Whose scheduled OT is before Marwar Jn. Alwar - Bandikui - Jaipur is a decent run. The Train easily reaches 5-10mins before Time At Jaipur(on days when Probander Exp is not there and 5-10mins Late when Probander Exp is there) but the Departure will always be delayed by 10-15mins because of always delay Departure of Jaipur - Udaipur Exp. At Jaipur there will be huge crowd for this Train as its a best AC train for Jaipur - Mumbai Pacx. At Jaipur you will always get atleast 20mins halt, so one can take Lunch & water bottles from Station. From Adjacent Pf Jaipur - Mumbai Exp(Via Kota) departs Almost at Same time as GR Departs and arrives destination BDTS after GR.
Post Jaipur Till Phulera u will get a MPS Run, there is almost 0.01% chance that u will overtake Jaipur - Udaipur Exp but this happened in My Run and overtake Happened at Phulera Jn. Post Phulera till Kishangarh it's A Ok type run as u will be Trailing Porbander Exp. Train gets unscheduled halts at Kishangarh, Ladpura & Madar Jn and hence Ajmer Arrival will be 10-15mins Delayed. The Train gets Top Priority post Ajmer & May overtake Porbander Exp At Ajmer or Kishangarh Itself. Ajmer Halt is 5mins if train is delayed & the Max pacx will be boarding from Ajmer.The Train will be 95% packed by Ajmer Jn. At Ajmer or Daurai Ahmedabad - Jaipur passenger & Aravali Exp will cross 12215 GR which arrives at Platform 2.
You will face Numerous crossings in Rewari - Ajmer, Mostly all Trains hauled by BGKT EMD.
Post Ajmer you will get MPS Run, other train will be looped for 12215 GR & Almost 66-70kms is covered in 1st hour. Post Beawar The train even touches 115-117kmph & coveres almost 95-100kms in next 1hr. The Train passes through a Scenic Curver at Sendra(Near Beawar) where easily the aggression of the TKD link cam be observed. U will get a MPS Skip at Marwar Jn(Almost 110Kmph). If Porbander Exp isn't delayed than overtake happens at Marwar Jn. Marwar - Falna is the best section where the train thrashes every station at 110+ Speed. Doubling has helped a lot here. Falna Arrival is usually 10mins delayed and some 45-50 passengers may board from Falna. Dinner order is taken at Falna (Dinner has 3 parathas, 2 sabzi, dal, rice, pickle etc) Post Falna till Bhimana Again a Wonderful run covered in 1hr. If Bikaner Exp & Rajkot - DEE Exp is delayed u may get 30mins before arrival at Abu road and u will face crossing with Bikaner exp, Rajdhani & Agra Exp at Abu Road& if all slots on time u will be Stopped at Kivarli or Morthala and all crossings happens. At Abu Road one can enjoy famous Rabdi. Abu Road departure is usually 8-10mins Delayed from Platform 2 & Not much passengers from Abu Road.
Post Abu Road Crossing happens with Legend Ashram Exp usually at Satotra Road or Shri Amirgarh, usually Ashram waits at main line for GR, i.e GR crosses via loop line. Palanpur Arrival is 10-12mins Delayed. At Palanpur crossing with 19027 Vivek Exp & Ganganagar Exp Slot Trains. Post Palanpur it's a good run till Gandhinagar Capital, u will face crossing with Suryanagri Exp, Bikaner Exp Etc Trains. At Gandhinagar Capital some 10-12 passengers Board/Deboard Train where departure is usually 25-30mins delayed. Post Capital some 15-20mins delayed is covered till Ahmedabad.
At Ahmedabad TKD Alco/EMD is detached and fresh BRC WAP5/7 is given. Departure is Usually 10mins Late from Ahmedabad. Here some 80-100 Passengers Board/Deboard Train. Post Ahmedabad Train runs at 120 MPS so enjoys huge priority. Till Vadodara almost all delay is covered, usually it's 3-5mins delay Departure. Post Vadodara it's All MPS skip as u will run Ahead of King 12952 NDLS - BCT Rajdhani Exp. At Bharuch & Surat many passengers deboard train train. Surat Departure is usually on Time. Post Surat it's a best run, u will cover next 200kms in almost 2hrs-2hrs 10mins. Till Virar it's 120Kmph run. U will face MPS crossing with Many Trains like Ahmedabad Shatabdi, Jhansi exp Etc. Post Virar GR is sandwiched between Fast EMU trains. So it will run with 80-90Kmph speed. Suburban stations are skipped at Decent speed & Borivali departure is usually 8-10mins delayed. Post Borivali GR takes 7th line towards BDTS & King Rajdhani parallely overtakes GR. Post Borivali local vendors offer breakfast(Bread-Omlette usually)at 50-60rs. BDTS arrival is usually 5mins before or on Time as train enjoys top Priority in WR divisions.
All in all Till Ajmer it's A Decent run, but post Ajmer it's A Blasty run, a Top Priority run. Always runs packed, only discomfort is the SMB Birth rest all is perfect. The Train also has some Duronto & ICF Rajdhani Coaches.
It's my general review on this Train as I have travelled 10-15 Times end to end. Please correct me where needed. Also, Share your views on This.

Ahmedabad - Ajmer shayad kyuki Mahesana tak lagbagh kaam ho gaya hai.. Delhi side sai dekhe toh Delhi - Rewari & Alwar - Ajmer bacha hai and iss side sai Mahesana - Ajmer.. Seeing the pace of work may be Ahmedabad - Ajmer will win.

The Train Usually Departs Late from Bandra Terminus (Usually 15-20mins late) due to Late departure of Paschim Exp(Usually 10-15mins Late) & rake shunting of Veraval Exp. Train doesn't have a PC But Vendors are always there till Ahmedabad to Sell Food in this Train. Having Lunch at BDTS Itself & Taking Dinner at Ahmedabad Station is Preffered Most. OBHS Staff does Regular Cleaning Till Ahmedabad & after that they Dissapear.
The Train Usually Overtakes Paschim Exp Before Surat (Usually at Amalsad) and Even with Delayed dep the Train manages to reach Surat On Time(most of the times). Ahmedabad Arrival will Always be delayed by Atleast 10mins with same delay while departure. After Ahmedabad Till Jodhpur no one comes in the Train(Night Travel).

At Jodhpur You can have Tea and take some Breakfast from Jodhpur itself(mostly preffered) or MTD.Take Water Bottles from Jodhpur itself as after that water is Salty at All stations till Hisar.
The Train will be delayed by Atleast 20-25mins at Jodhpur and 40Mins at Merta Road. From Merta The Train Usually covers all delay till Ratangarh. At Ratangarh you can buy Puri - Aloo Sabji at 15rs(7-8 Puri and decent amount of Sabzi), it's really delicious. After Ratangarh Till Hisar no one even comes to sell Water bottles also so please buy Water Bottles latest by MTD. After Ratangarh the Train will wait for Salasar Exp after Churu & Will Arrive Hisar Usually 15mins Before Time. Here 60% of the train is emptied. Please have a Lunch here as after that u have to enjoy a passenger Train ride. The train trails Sirsa - Ludhiana Passenger from Hisar Till Ludhiana for about 5.30hrs and will wait for Each Crossing due to high slack given & usually take unscheduled halt at Jakhal Jn as the Train Crosses Delhi - Bathinda main line. Ludhiana Shatabdi Will cross near to Dhuri usually 1 station before dhuri. Usually Ludhiana arrival is On Scheduled Time due to heavy slack given in Hisar - Ludhiana. Although sometimes Ludhiana Passenger is delayed and 19027 may be given priority to be ahead of passenger, but still train will be trolled till Ludhiana again. Post Ludhiana it's a Decent run till Jammu Tawi. Train usually reaches Jammu On Time.
This Train runs packed all seasons through out the year. Recently train has Been Given LHB Coaches & is on Time 99% of The runs. Thanks..!

chuki thi, poore platform p train ka wait karne wale logo ki bheed jama thi. Maine dekha ki DEE side se poora platform bhara h to main bhi us side chala gaya.
Akhir jab 16:40 par announce hua ki train aa rahi h to sabhi log platform se niche track ki taraf chal pade kuch to lagbhag 200 mtr door tak chale gaye. Main khada hua dekh raha tha jab ek aadmi se poocha to usne bataya ki train platform pe aane se pehle hi bhar jayegi. Jaise hi train pahuchi to jo log track p the wo train me chad gaye iske baad jo platform k just niche the wo bhi chad gaye.(iska video attached h)
Jab train ruki or andar ghusa to har seat p ek ek aadmi baitha tha jo uska poora maalik tha usne seat p bag rakh k use apne naam p registered kar lia tha(pic1,2,3)
Maine jab bag uthane k liye kaha to jawab mila " bhai yahan log ayenge" . Ye log jo daily travel karte h doosre dosto k liye seat book karke rakhte h. Usne mujhe nahi baithne diya or last me mujhe seat k ooper wali jagah pe hi baithna pada jo mere liye nikat bhavishya me accha bhi hua.
Jab train 15 min late 17:20 p chali to wo poori trah full thi. Lekin jaise hi ye train Shahdara station p ruki to ekdam bhoochal aa gaya or agle 15 second me poori train jam pack ho gayi sare corridor seaton ke beach ki jagahsab full kahin pair rakhne ki jagah nahi bachi.
