This is an attempt day time express like TT plotted between Tambaram (Chennai) - Tuticorin in an entirely different route, which most part lacks a day time connection to the capital city of tamilnadu.
Previously a link train for guruvayur chennai egmore express used to run from Tuticorin, which will be attached...
more... at maniyachchi, which has good usage by the public. Since slip concept was eradicated, this slip also gone, which was not a bad idea, if a train like this come since there is no direct day train for Tuticorin - chennai as of now.
Aruppukkottai doesn't have a day time connection to Chennai, manamadurai, sivagangai, karaikkudi they rely on either RMM - SC/BBS bidirectionally twice a week, for aranthangi, peravurani, pattukottai, adiramapattinam, muthupettai, thiruthuraipoondi, there is RMM - SC - RMM. People can use this train for pudukottai from aranthangi/karaikkudi, thirunallaru/nagore/karaikkal from peralam, velankanni/Nagapattinam from thiruvarur and Thanjavur/kumbakonam from pattukottai.
Such a daily train if introduced will be very useful for end to end and many intermediate towns.
Thanks for reading patiently.
please wait...Translate to EnglishYo, check out this time table, man. Read it, give your opinions, and flag if necessary, yo. This is an attempt to have a day time express like TT going from Tambaram (Chennai) to Tuticorin, but taking a totally different route. Most of the route lacks a day time connection to the capital city of Tamil Nadu, you know what I'm saying?
Before, there used to be a train linking Guruvayur and Chennai Egmore Express that ran from Tuticorin, and it was attached at Maniyachchi. The public really liked it. But now, since the slip concept was scrapped, this connection is gone too. And that's not cool, man. We could really use a train like this because there's no direct day train from Tuticorin to Chennai right now.
Aruppukkottai doesn't have a day time connection to Chennai. Manamadurai, Sivagangai, Karaikkudi - they rely on the RMM - SC/BBS train going both ways twice a week. And for Aranthangi, Peravurani, Pattukottai, Adiramapattinam, Muthupettai, and Thiruthuraipoondi, there's the RMM - SC - RMM train. People from Aranthangi and Karaikkudi can use this train to get to Pudukottai. And people from Peralam can use it to get to Thirunallaru, Nagore, and Karaikkal. And folks from Thiruvarur can use it to get to Velankanni and Nagapattinam, while people from Pattukottai can use it to go to Thanjavur and Kumbakonam.
If they introduce a daily train like this, it would be super useful for everyone, from start to finish and all the small towns in between. Thanks for taking the time to read, bro.
