KJM WDM 3A which was doing the shunting. Took this pic when i was on the way to SBC, waiting to board the MYS TN exp . Once again i was spellbound by the maintenance of SWR and once again i was irritated by SWR's negligence because the rake was brought into platform only at 17:50 , infact the twin deemers was shunting the rake till 17:40. The copassenger said its happening right from last monday. The people who wanted to travel to Bangalore by Hampi also boarded the general compartments. Finally the train started at 18:25.

more... at the either sides of Byadarahalli is the minor obstacle)Byadarahalli to Yeliyur is going on in a good pace.(tracks are laid in some patches , the surface is smoothened , the obstacle is a small uneven gradient present in this stretch and the level crossing gates has to be altered near Yeliyur)Yeliyur to Mandya is almost completed , just the tracks in the platform has to be joined with the 2nd line and the other track has to be linked with the existing line. So a points and crossing has to be laid. If thats laid then Yeliyur to Mandya doubling is done.Mandya - Maddur - Settihally in this stretch , almost all the works are over. Just few minor works. Overall conclusion is , the doubling is going at good pace. The major obstacle is Srirangapattana
