Some of you would already know that this train has RSA with TPTY-CMNR Fast passenger. I booked both my tickets in 2S. For this particular leg (TPTY-MAS or MAS-TPTY), all the sleeper coaches are also made into general compartments and two of the general coaches at the beginning or the end (depending upon the rake) will be made into 2S coaches. But the problem is, the name boards wont be changed. So all the sleeper will be marked as S1-S7 whereas the 2s coaches will be marked as 'general' only (except there is a chart pasted outside). Because of this, many general pax board into the 2S coaches and wont even listen to you when you tell them that these are reserved coaches. Especially with the coaches located right at the beginning or the end, they firmly think that these are general coaches.

On my way to TPTY from MAS, I faced this issue and literally had the feeling of travelling in a general coach. On the contrary, people are hesitant to get into sleeper coaches, thinking they are reserved. Hence during my return journey from TPTY, I decided to board a sleeper coach (technically its a general coach) even though I had a 2S ticket. The coach was empty throughout the journey and I had a nice sleep in one of the upper berths.

Hence for passengers booking is 2S, I would say just buy a general ticket and get into a sleeper coach to have a comfortable journey.
