its a classified info that IR is going to bring a new king of electric loco i.e. WAP-10 which contains 10,000 HP.
Any further info related to it...not known.
Trials/tests conducted by RDSO...results not known.
I got to know cz i personally saw that loco going for test near Kanpur(CNB) some 1 year back.

That's actually Japanese version Loco, and its a Freight based loco, not for passenger version.
These will b in two units, one will 9000-9500 Hp and the freight version will b around 10 k Hp, with advanced features.
The Indian version prototype isn't ready neither they have christened the next generation loco.
