Train 17016 Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar that left Secunderabad on Friday was short-terminated at Vizianagaram and ran as 17015 Visakha Express from Vizianagaram to Secunderabad. Train 17480 Tirupati-Puri that left Tirupati on Friday was short-terminated at Palasa. Train number 18464 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar that left Bangalore on Friday was short-terminated at Visakhapatnam, while 12829 Chennai-Bhubaneswar that left Chennai on Friday was short-terminated at Visakhapatnam. Train 58527 Raipur- Visakhapatnam Passenger was short terminated at Rayagada.

Train 57230 Visakhapatnam-Machilipatnam Passenger train was partially cancelled between Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry on Saturday, while 15902 Dibrugarh-Yesvantpur Weekly Express, scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam on Sunday, was also cancelled.
Twenty-six trains were diverted. These include 12840 Chennai-Howrah Mail that was diverted via Vijayawada and12508 Guwahati-Trivendrum that was diverted via Angul and Sambalpur. Train 18048 Vasco-da-gama-Howrah was short-terminated at Visakhapatnam and diverted via Vijayawada apart from 22606 Villupuram- Purulia and 12666 Kanyakumari-Howrah that too were diverted.
