SCR Makes Special Arrangements for Pune-Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Passengers in view of Short Termination at Lingampally
Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway has personally reviewed the arrangements made for the passengers with regard to short termination of Train No. 12025/12026 Pune-Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Express at Lingampalli Railway Station due to Metro Rail crossing works today i.e on 7th February, 2015. He instructed Divisional officials to make appropriate arrangements to provide transport facility and avoid inconvenience for Shatabdi Passengers.

more... senior divisional officers and deputed them to closely monitor the arrangements and avoid any inconvenience to passengers. The passengers travelling to and fro by Pune Shatabdi Express were adequately taken care of by ensuring the following arrangements.
1. Deputed a Commercial officer to Pune in advance for extensive publicity on short termination of Shatabdi Express by frequent announcements at the Pune Railway Station.
2. All the passengers on board were informed personally.
3. Since coach watering facility is not available at Lingampalli station, all the coaches were filled with sufficient water at Sholapur Railway Station to avoid inconvenience to passengers.
4. Sent SMS messages to the reserved passengers of Shatabdi Express about short termination and originating of the train from Lingampalli.
5. Frequent announcements were made in this regard at Lingampalli and Secunderabad railway stations.
6. Sufficient number of licensed porters along with luggage trolleys etc were arranged at the Lingampalli station for the convenience of passengers.
7. A special MMTS train was run from Secunderabad to Lingampalli at 02:45 pm.
8. A special MMTS train was run from Lingampalli to Secunderabad at 02:50 pm.
9. Arranged four Metro Luxury AC buses from Lingampalli to Secunderabad to facilitate passengers of Shatabdi.
10. In coordination with Cyberabad traffic police arranged the availability of prepaid autos and taxis at the Lingampalli railway station.
11. Senior officials along with supervisory staff camped at both the stations to monitor the situation.
