Thats why you are not in their place....Doubling will take time due to various reasons.
no.. the main reason is volvo market.. there are regions where terrain is not ideal but I have seen lot more difficult conditions... Jammu Katra is best example..so If someone is willing enough then doubling can be done fully in 5 years from cstm - ypr.
Recently while traveling to SBC, I heard from a fellow traveler, that the rail link between Penukonda and DMM via SSPM was completed in a record time of 8 months. Apparently Satya Sai Baba used his influence in the industry and RB to get the work done. L&T did most of the earth work...
