Yesterday travelled by the HISTORICAL, the ROYAL, QUEEN of NG SATPURA EXP..
1. Arrived NIR jn at 15:15. Reached ticket counter no rush observed. In fact I don't have to wait for a single person.55 rs fare NIR to JBP.
2. Entered at PF 3, loco changed some ZDM 4a to another ZDM 4a #235. Boarded on a coach adjacent to FC though seats were occupied but I did not cared, NG can be enjoyed more on gate. Please be careful while travelling near gate.

more... B/w NIR to Pindrai subgrade laid parallel to existing track.
4. Pindrai to ghusore no works observed. May be a new alignment will exist.
5. Deep cuts are prepared where required I.e. The most time consuming and expensive task.
6. Almost all the bridges are complete or about to complete. Most of the incomplete bridges have slab to cast that's it. Abutment and Piers are already built.
7. Observed upto 14 degree curve on NG. Degree of curve reduced for BG. Thus new alignment taking place.
8. BUQ PF and station building work on full swing.
9. Land levelled for new station at Sukari Mangla.
10. After Jamtara no BG subgrade seen perhaps After BG Gwarighat will be removed as no signs of BG seen.
Conclusion- SECR was trying to consume it's time and fund where work could be done without forest clearence. The cleared section is almost done except ballast and tracks.
