In present longer route it is taking avg speed of 40+ and i believe via KRNT is shorter route that reduces again avg speed.
If in future the TT is little agressive then SCR thinks that the occupancy will be increases from SC/BMT/LPI what for to divert via KRNT by loosing LPI/BMT pass and reducing Tatkal load on SBC sf and prasantinilayam exp
As it is open fact that the fare of SBC SF and prasanti nilayam AC is high compared to GR
