We should never forget their efforts.
Salute to the people who work day in and day out to clean our railways.
.
Agreed that the Indian Railways may not be as clean as some of its western counterparts.
I...
more... too feel disgusted a lot of times.
But we travelers are equally to be blamed for it.
I have seen people throw Peanut peels Orange peels etc right under their seats. If confronted their usual answer is a counter question - "Aapki seat hai kya?" .
The worse part is the other fellow passengers join in to support the "Aapki seat hai kya?" statement.
If we have to keep our country's Railways (or for that matter any other public place) clean, we ourselves have to move forward and stop this. We may have to face opposition in the Coach but slowly & surely our numbers will increase!
.
All said and done, let us not forget the efforts of the cleaners who have to clean even shit and scum just because the travelers refuse to follow a simple request by the Indian Railways - "Please do not use Toilets at Stations"
