That might be your case as per seasonal demand. Both the fare system does get double triple.. it was ur luck that more bookings hapnd when train became suvidha. But Premium tatkal 10k for BCT Rajdhani is highest heard cost, n thts premium.
Honourable RM Sir, I offer my suggestions that the present SUVITHA last 2 slab ( 60% to 80% and 80% to 100%) fares are very very high and the poor and common people could not be utilized in urgency. By reducing the fares structures ,Suvitha occupancy also tremendously increased from the present (60 to 70%) to (95 to 100% ) for the benefits of all the stakeholders. ... more...
The Present Suvitha Sleeper class last leg of fares (80% to 100%) are equivalent to Regular 2AC fares. This is highly un warrented and queze the ordinary common and poor passenger who are compelled to travel in urgency. This system of fares are purely compelled the poor and common people to get accommodation beyond his earning and spending capacity to travel in the dignified manner during emergency. At-least the present Suvitha last 2 slabs are abolished and regular Suvitha trains may be operated in all the major routes on weekend days. So i requested our Honourable Ministerji to abolish the last two slab of the present Suvitha fares system and kept the first 3 Slabs as below. First slab with 33.34%,and the next two slabs of 33.3% each with the present Suvitha fares for the first 20%; next 20% (>20%to 40%)and next 20% (>40% to 60%)respectively and abolishing the last 2 slabs. Moreover 5 to 12 year old children's also allotted lower berth along with their parents in the same bay of the coach during revised charting .Now charged full fares.
