Grievance Description : There are just 2 trains connecting Mumbai and Jammu-Katra via WR i.e weekly Bandra-Jammu Express and Swaraj Express that runs just 4 days a week. There is no train via CR. Train no.02171/02172 CSTM-Katra-CSTM SF Special Express should introduced/regularised . Timetable suggestion as follows:- Down Timetable is almost the same as 02171 down LTT-Katra Express on Fridays from LTT i.e LTT 07:55, BSL 14:00-14:10, BPL 20:30-20:35, NDLS 07:25-07:50, SVDK 19:45. But the UP timetable is slow and hence, needs to be speeded up. New Timeslot in Katra-NDLS section but ready made timeslot of ASR-NGP AC Express from NDLS to BPL/Etarsi, new timeslot in Etarsi-BSL stretch and BSL-LTT ready made Timeslot of 12262 HWH-CST AC Duronto Express. 02172 up Katra-LTT Express on Sundays from Katra i.e SVDK 00:55, NDLS 12:02-12:15, JHS 17:15-17:25, BPL 21:30-21:35, BSL 03:25-03:45, LTT 10:15.

Details : The matter raised by you is not a grievance and you would appreciate that points raised are fresh demands/suggestions. Thanks for the same. The routes/timings of inter-railway trains are finalized after taking into consideration the demands, traffic potential, availability of path/platforms enroute, destination points, other operational feasibility and convenience of the majority of the passengers particularly at the originating/terminating points. Any change in routes/timings will be highly resented by the present users and not feasible due to operational exigencies.
