It was time for the two passenger train to arrive at SDVL. Over 50 anxious passenger waiting on platform and outside the ticket counter. The Gate for the level crossing also closes, but there is no sign of the ticketing clerk.
Passenger, especially the ladies and elderly are worried as to how they will manage to buy tickets and reach to platform in time to catch the train.
We could hear the Nelmangala Bangalore Passenger train chugging towards the station. The Bangalore Tumaluru passenger also left the BAW but still there is no...
more... sign of the man on duty.
few minutes later as the Nelmangala Passenger negotiates the curve, we see a middle aged man in pyjama and t-shirt walking fast over the foot over bridge and few people are following him. He held something in his hands, something wrapped in a news paper. He went straight to the ticket counter building and that is when I realized he was the man every one was looking for. The ticket counter clerk of SDVH.
I am not sure if this was a rare occasion, but felt really sorry for the passenger who were waiting outside the ticket counter, few were waiting for more than 45 mins.
