But actually, a Junction is a point where trains can change tracks from one line to another. In this sense, a station like Vasai Road, where trains can actually change tracks, should be considered as a Junction by Indian railways. Here, IR lacks basic thinking.
And a station like Neral Junction and Billimora Junction where both Narrow gauge and broad gauge trains are completely independent, the station is named as Junction.

more... point, as you that Vasai is not considered a Junction by indian railways, and that is the reason why it is mentioned as a regular station. But stations like Karjat, Panvel which are Junction stations, but they are not mentioned by Indian railways, but still mentioned as Junction in IRI, why is it so?
