Buxar-Patna-Mokama needs a third line so that more MEMU type trains can be run on these routes. Presently, there are many problems in ECR DNR Division.

Whenever, an express train is stopped at a non-stopping station, announcements about the next scheduled halts are done at that station so that local passengers can take that train. In this way, Railway is itself helping passengers to take those trains.
The other root cause of all, apart from ECR's inefficiency is Population. Despite of so many MEMU and passenger trains throughout the day, demand is not reducing. Such situations hint towards one thing only, i.e. setting up of additional lines for suburban type network if not a dedicated suburban Railway network.
