No no not all. Few ICF Raj coaches. Otherwise all GR coaches were specially manufactured and even in few GR Coaches SM Berths are removed.
Nahi, Koi alag se nahi bante GR ke coaches, it's only slightly modified rusting decommissioned ICF coaches of pre 2000-2005 Rajdhanis.
side berths were added in many trains including Garib Rath during Lalu as RM as he was of opinion that poor people will like adding more seats even on a little bit inconvenience.
But all over India, this move was unwelcomed by pax

BDTS NZM GR is one of the Garib Raths to not have SMB in all coaches.
But, Garib Rath coaches are 130 permitted. So, you might be right about addition of coaches from Rajdhani. But, not true for all Garib Raths. Plus, the berth arrangement in a Garib Rath Coach is very unique, different from any other AC Coach. You have a Half-Coupe near the door.

As you have see in Rajdhani, half coupe is for coach attendants and locker for keeping bedsheet etc in one end and snacks etc towards other end door.
These half coupes may have modified to make locker and attendant sleaping seatberth into three berths.
