* Flexifare policy is reportedly under review since about a year, but no significant change/ steps has been taken so far. Let us see whether the CAG's observations could open the eyes or awaken the mind of IR
* IR need to come out of the cocoon of monopoly and start thinking practically. IR want to earn profit of upto 50% or even more than 50% in some cases from the paxs of premium trains, just because they are getting better services than highly subsidised second class/ ordinary paxs.

more... that these paxs have other options like air travel & ac luxury buses/ car which have become more preferable than ac rail travel (in premium trains) due to flexifares. Due to flexifares, the fares of these trains are now equal to or more than airline fare which give much superior service.
