premium trains like Rajdhani Shatabdi etc is the best braking system of P-7 rather KNORS BRAKING SYSTEM
The LP also told me that PTDC which is presently used in all 3 Phase Electric Locomotives is very effective according to him Railways should focus on increasing the TRACTIVE EFFORT of the Locomotive as because he opines that WAP-4 still the best for its TRACTIVE EFFORT though its Horse Power is less than other electric locomotives.
He also told me that the idea of 9000 HP P-7 is not required rather much horse power is required for Goods Train so 9000 HP WAG-9 is very effective....
I have also cleared the concept of LSDJ(High Voltage Circuit Braker) from the LP Sir he asked me "Do you know how to start & stop P-7 ?"
I replied both the procedure to him in detail ....... then he inquired about my age & work and repeatedly told me to join Railways but dear friends already I am 35 ++ in this age it is not possible but he insisted & told me you have a very good knowledge join Railways
We had a very friendly chat for about 20 minutes....
However the rake of Santiniketan also departed HWH as Coald Field then we ended our chat and the LP Sir took the DLW made HWH P-7i 37034 towards HWH ELS.
The Loco has larger TOUCH SCREEN BASED DRIVER DISPLAY UNIT which is in "SIMULATION MODE" at that time as because in "SIMULATION MODE" you have to Drive any 3 Phase Electric Locomotive the other Switches like BLDJ,BLCP BPCS are also very smart looking ......
The DLW made P-7 Locos are very classy ..... the DRIVERS PANEL is also very Smart looking
Some pics of 37034 is captured which is attached in this BLOG
NB: The LP Sir told me that the Grand Chord Route which is blocked for recent POORVA EXP Derailment near CNB (Kanpur Central) is resumed .......... please check this info from sources dear friends
