Mostly Metropolitan Region as per Railways start from Karjat/Kasara in CR, Dahanu in WR & Probably(Not Sure) Panvel in Harbour Line.....Actual Mumbai Suburbs/City Limits start from Mulund in CR, Dahisar in WR & Mankhurd in Harbour Lines.... It's only after Thane District in CR/WR & Navi Mumbai City in Harbour Line ends, Mumbai Limits begin.
So technically, Mumbai does not have any Passing Trains. It has only Originating/Terminating Trains as all trains bypass from Diva(Thane District), Vasai (Palghar District) & Panvel(Raigad District) itself without touching Mumbai. But still some passengers call the outskirts also as Mumbai only as it belongs to Metropolitan Region as per Railway Boundaries.
Yaa
Good information indeed
U forgot kalyan?
Lol!Skyscrapers in Ulhasnagar😂
Big buildings are found after Kalyan and till Dombivli,in a very little scale, almost very less. Then from Thane,it slowly increases and the first skyscraper you'd see is near Dadar just before the station from Kurla Side.Skyscraper wala buildings are mostly after Dadar and many will be in Colaba,Powai(Kanjur Marg is nearest station)and in WR zones like Bandra......Also these are not skyscrapers actually, ordinary high-rise buildings with more height.
Mumbai>Thane>Kalyan
Kalyan...
more... is just a residential+MIDC Industrial Area....Kalyan is not developed like it's counterparts....But is a good Urban area in the outskirts...
Edit-Powai is for Hiranandani and Bandra is for the upcoming BKC Complex
Actually I haven't been to Mumbai
I was talking via Google Maps
Even ulhasnagar looks busy town 🌇
Thats
Almost every station until Badlapur will be crowded....Houses in Mumbai is a big deal, too costly for rent and to buy.....So these areas turned out to be cheap and due to locals,it is easy to commute.....No Commercial IT Parks like that is not there until TNA,everything is after that inside Mumbai only, especially from Vikhroli,Airoli(Navi Mumbai)
Only if you go to Mumbai once, you'll get an idea about that...
