Don't ever rely on this station for "FOOD". Buy Food st SC or NED if you are travelling in this route. Only TEA/Samosas/Chips are available at this station. No chioce of Lunch or DInner. There are also no proper restaurants near the station (200m radius)

Being from Nizamabad, I partially agree with your words. Currently quality lunch and dinner are not available on the platforms but a large shopping cum dining complex is under construction in the station premises near the parking at Terminal 1, I believe as soon as it is built, quality food could be served at all platforms. And regarding the 200m thing, there's a 2 story posh restaurant (Hotel City Pride) exactly opposite the railway station at not more than 100m radius, there are several small hotels too but I agree it isn't accessible to the commuters who are in the train.
