The amalgamation bifurcation of trains (Kannur/Karwar) can be avoided. One daily train running with 4 different numbers in two routes with different TT on different days!!???!!. After reaching MAQ the train occupies PF for hours for nothing.
I have a suggestion:
Split the combined train to 2 trains. Let SR operate Kannur portion via Kunigal, MAQ and let SWR operate Karwar portion via Mysore, MAQ. There should not be PF problem at MAQ as these trains are running already with PF availablity.
