Ara Sasaram was a part of Martin Burn's Light Railway, known as Arrah & Sasaram Light Railway Co. Ltd. It was a line made by private company to operate shuttles and passenger trains. The Fatuha-Islampur line, BKP-Bihar Sharif, Howrah-Amta were also a part of Martin Light Railway.
Dildarnagar Tarighat was made so that people could get access to the river from where they could cross the river through boats. Earlier long bridges weren't constructed due to lack of proper technology. (Even trains like Kalka Mail used to terminate at Prayagraj and people...

Sonwal Ghazipur City has been made so that trains from Patna to GCT or Shahganj etc may move to NER territory without going to Varanasi. This is also a measure to decongest the present bridge between DDU and BSB. CRS inspection of the bridge has been done.
Diesel sheds in ECR are DDU, PTRU, SPJ. Earlier BJU was also planned to be a diesel shed but started off with electrics. Electric sheds in ECR are Gomoh, Barauni, DDU. Apart from these, all diesel sheds are also keeping electrics. DDU has both, separate diesel and electric sheds.
GMO got the first WAP 7. This shed not only held the WAP 7 of ECR but also of while IR. No idea about WAG 9
Railway never increased trains on those routes so never thought of its doubling.
please wait...Translate to EnglishAra Sasaram was, like, a part of this railway thing called Arrah & Sasaram Light Railway Co. Ltd. It was a private company that ran shuttles and passenger trains. The Fatuha-Islampur line, BKP-Bihar Sharif, Howrah-Amta were also part of this Martin Light Railway thing.
Dildarnagar Tarighat was made so that people could get to the river and cross it on boats. They didn't have long bridges before because they didn't have the right technology (even back in the day, trains like Kalka Mail would stop at Prayagraj and people would take a boat to cross the river. Then they would catch another Kalka Mail to Delhi, it used to be called Delhi Mail at that time, I think). They just built a new bridge recently.
Sonwal Ghazipur City was built so that trains from Patna to GCT or Shahganj, and stuff, could go to NER territory without having to pass through Varanasi. It's also to ease the congestion on the bridge between DDU and BSB. They inspected the bridge and stuff.
