88 Per Cent Work On Two Dedicated Freight Corridors Complete, 2513 Km Route Length Commissioned Till October 2023

has been completed. A total of 2,513 km out of 2,843 km have been finished, with an expenditure of Rs 1,08,558 crore. The EDFC cost Rs 51,000 crore, while the WDFC cost Rs 73,000 crore. The EDFC extension to Dankuni via Gomoh and Andal will not be built by DFCCIL, and the Ministry of Railways is considering alternative options. The remaining stretch of the WDFC is expected to be completed this fiscal year except for a 109 km section between Vaitarna and JNPT.

JNPT tak jaata hai, bhi complete ho chuka hai. Total 2,843 km mein se 2,513 km complete ho chuke hain, aur is par Rs 1,08,558 crore kharch aa chuka hai. EDFC pe Rs 51,000 crore aur WDFC pe Rs 73,000 crore kharch aaya hai. EDFC ka Dankuni tak extension, Gomoh aur Andal se hota hua, DFCCIL nahi banayega, aur Ministry of Railways iske liye alternate options consider kar raha hai. WDFC ka baki part is fiscal year mein complete hone ki ummid hai, except for a 109 km section between Vaitarna and JNPT.
