Actually GS class passengers travelled in situations much worse than these since many years now but no one seemed to care about them neither Railways nor most of us railfans (myself included) only now that reserved classes are also becoming like this we seem to notice it.
Seriously I completely agree with you sir that even in GS it should be strictly ensured that the coach capacity is not exceeded. For that one solution will be to reserve all the classes in M/E and SF trains including GS like during covid days and there should be serious limits on the WL allowed in PRS. It's stupid that IRCTC allows GNWL above 100 in trains having only 2 SL coaches.

more... Railways seems to be only focussing on VB and freight revenues these days. Non premium trains like this one here are highly neglected first you have the problems of trains running terribly late on top of that this kind of rush. I seriously hope that more and more airports and airlines come up in this country and people get rich so most can finally trash Indian Railways and upgrade to air travel and then Railways can run freight trains as much as they want.

Honestly, I totally agree with you, bro. Even in GS, they should make damn sure that they don't overload the coach. One solution could be to reserve all the classes in M/E and SF trains, including GS, like they did during the covid days. And they need to seriously limit the waiting list on the PRS system. It's so dumb that IRCTC allows more than 100 people on GNWL in trains with only 2 SL coaches.
Indian Railways seems to only care about the big bucks from VIP and freight trains these days. They totally neglect non-premium trains like this one here. First, you got trains running hella late, and on top of that, you gotta deal with this insane amount of people.
I seriously hope that more airports and airlines pop up in this country and people get rich, so they can trash Indian Railways once and for all and upgrade to air travel. Then Railways can do their thing with freight trains all they want, man.

Sach mein bhai, main bhi aapke sath agree karta hu ki GS mein bhi acche se dhyan dena chahiye ki coach ki capacity jyada na ho. Iske liye ek solution ye ho sakta hai ki M/E aur SF trains mein GS jaise sare classes reserve ho aur PRS mein WL ki limit honi chahiye. IRCTC ki toh koi sense hi nahi hai 2 SL coaches wali train mein GNWL 100 se jyada allow kar rahi hai.
