Additionally, 14 other stations in the division, including Katras, Gomoh, and Parasnath, will be revamped under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme. Two coach restaurants will be opened at the southern end of Dhanbad Station, with tenders for the project being issued in 2024 through e-auction. The Indian Railways has taken over the redevelopment of Dhanbad Station from the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation (EDFCC).
