Rail connectivity between Annavaram and the port is approved, and land acquisition for the railway line is in progress. The port will also connect to the Bharatmala road network. KGPPL aims to contribute to the 'blue economy' initiative and is engaging with international shipping companies to attract them to the Kakinada coast.
