The Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced the completion on Twitter, highlighting the successful 118 km/h speed trial. The project cost 755 crore rupees. The new line will offer new train services and provides a direct connection from Hansi to Rohtak, departing from the Hansi railway station 2 km away. In 2023, passengers have received two long-distance trains: a Hisar-Tirupati Superfast Special and a Hisar-Bhavnagar terminus weekly train. The Tirupati train departs Hisar every Saturday at 2:10 PM, while the Bhavnagar train departs every Wednesday at 3:05 PM.
