meeting was attended by the Kumbh Mela officer Vijay Kiran Anand, district and police administration officials, and railway officials from Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Varanasi divisions. A control tower has been built atop the station building to monitor station movements and manage crowds. The control tower will be equipped with modern communication tools such as CCTV, photo lines, railway phones, wireless, 25 watt VHF sets, and display area boards. The Prayagraj Junction has a capacity of approximately 10,000 passengers per hour. A defined SOP and a list of officers responsible for each area are in place for emergency contacts during crowd control. The coordinator stationed in the Prayagraj Junction control tower will keep the district administration officer informed at all times.
