after discovering the body, which had been decapitated. Chakulia police, including ASI Sumit Kumar and Chaama Uraon, arrived at the scene and recovered a knife from the deceased's pocket. The knife had been used to inflict two cuts on his left hand. Reports indicate that Laln Kumar Mandal was mentally unstable. His brother, Karan Kumar Mandal, identified the body and confirmed his mental state. The police conducted an inquest and sent the body to Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Hospital for an autopsy.

Police ne laash ka panchnama kar postmortem ke liye Ghatshila Anumandal Hospital bhej diya.
