24 elevated stations included in Package BH-IN-21. This package is estimated to cost Rs. 15.07 crores. The bids will undergo technical evaluation, and the lowest bidder will be selected. The Bhopal Metro Phase 1 project, with two lines totaling 27.90 km, was approved in 2016 and 2018. The priority corridor is expected to open in March 2024. The Indore Metro project, estimated to cost Rs. 7500 crores, will cover 31.5 km with 29 stations. The metro trains will run at a speed of 80 km/hr. The Bhopal Metro aims to provide efficient and eco-friendly transportation, with Alstom Transport India manufacturing 3-coach trains with a capacity of 50 seated and 300 standing passengers.
