On Monday, ASI Balbir Prasad of the Chakradharpur Division RPF Special Squad seized illegal lottery worth Rs. 8,31,000 from Tatanagar station based on a tip-off. Sonari as the kingpins of the lottery racket. According to Sonkar, he was carrying the illegal lottery after being disembarked from the Purushottam Express at Tatanagar station on their instructions. The names of tempo driver Sunil and a train coach attendant have surfaced in connection with the illegal lottery. Sonkar attempted to contact Sandeep Varun and Johnny Bhatia but they did not appear at the railway police station with legal documents. Sonkar claimed he was supposed to deliver the illegal lottery from the station to a tempo. The investigation revealed the involvement of a coach attendant in the illegal business. Following the interrogation, the RPF Special Squad handed over the accused to Tatanagar GRP Inspector Ghulam Rabbani Khan and registered a case under the Bihar-Jharkhand Gambling Act. Since lottery tickets are prohibited from being brought into and sold in Jharkhand, the RPF and GRP are attempting to locate the coach attendant to summon him for questioning. The railway police are investigating whether the illegal lottery was loaded onto the Delhi Puri Purushottam Express at some station along the route with the protection of the coach attendant. In November 2022, the RPF and GRP team apprehended Wasir and Ambika Prasad of Jugsalai with illegal lottery worth Rs. 2,00,000 from Tatanagar station. Sandeep Varun alias Kana had escaped from the station during that incident. In February 2023, the Jijha police arrested and jailed Krishna Arjun for selling lottery tickets in Baharagoda. The railway police investigation revealed that other tempo drivers are also involved in the illegal transportation of lottery, and they will be identified and action will be taken against them.

Kyunki Jharkhand mein lottery tickets ko dusre state se laane aur bechne pe ban hai, RPF aur GRP coach attendant ko locate karne ki koshish kar rahe hain, taaki unhe question karne ke liye thana bula sake. Railway police investigate kar rahe hain ki kya illegal lottery Delhi Puri Purushottam Express mein kisi station se coach attendant ke protection mein ladai gaya. November 2022 mein, RPF aur GRP team ne Tatanagar station se Jugsalai ke Wasir aur Ambika Prasad ko 2 lakh rupees ki illegal lottery ke saath pakda tha. Sandeep Varun alias Kana us time bhi station se escape ho gaya tha. February 2023 mein, Jijha police ne Baharagoda mein lottery tickets bechne ke time ek middle-aged Krishna Arjun ko pakad kar jail bheja tha. Railway police investigation mein pata chala ki aur bhi tempo drivers illegal lottery ke transport mein involve hain, jinki identification karke action liya jaayega.
