The Matunga traffic division will have 50 wardens stationed from Sion Circle to Dr. BA Road, a crucial route that requires smooth traffic flow to prevent congestion towards Dharavi and other areas. The new bridge will include two additional railway lines, and the BMC will work on the approach stretches. The demolition and reconstruction of the Sion RoB is estimated to cost Rs. 50 crores. After the Sion RoB, the Dharavi RoB is also scheduled for a similar process.
