Due to the disruption, several trains arriving at Sultanpur were held at various stations: Train No. 20401 Shuttle Superfast Express at Lambhua station, Manvar Sangam Express at Outer, and Train No. 4107 Special MEMU at Pakhrawali station. Normal train operations resumed after approximately two hours. The goods train engine malfunction was attributed to pressure buildup.
