rapid urbanization as key factors for prioritizing city transportation infrastructure. The government plans to focus on transit-oriented development, extending existing metro systems in major cities. The budget allocation opens doors for the Gorakhpur metro project, which has already been approved by the state cabinet and submitted to the central government for approval. The proposal for Lucknow's second metro line is also likely to be fast-tracked. Currently, metro rail services are operational in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Noida, with Agra's metro expected to start operations this month.

Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Meerut, aur Jhansi, ab metro rail service ka maza lene wala hai. Sarkaar ne kaha hai ki India mein middle class bohot tez badh raha hai, aur urbanization bhi bohot fast hai. Isliye cities mein metro rail chalake logon ko better city transport ki facility milegi. Sarkaar is baar transit-oriented development pe focus karegi, aur bade cities mein metro system ka expansion karegi. Gorakhpur metro project ke liye funds milne ki raah ab clear ho gayi hai, kyonki state cabinet ne isko approve kar diya hai aur centre ko bhi bhej diya hai.
