This will see an increase in railway track construction from an average of 57 km to 170 km per year, along with 40,073 crore rupees in investment from the railways. Further plans include the construction of 383 railway overbridges and underpasses, redevelopment of 57 stations, and 43 crore rupees for bypass projects. The focus will be on three key corridors: logistics, energy, and others, to facilitate trade and business growth by enhancing freight services and simplifying goods transportation. The railway line between Lodhma-Piska will see additional investment, while the Muri-Barakakana line and the doubling of the Bundamunda-Hatia line will be undertaken.
