Iske alawa, Dharmanagar, Udaipur aur Kumarghat jaise teen railway stations ko Amrit Bharat stations mein badalne ke liye Rs 93 crore diye gaye hain. Unhone kaha ki ab Tripura mein lagbhag 18 express aur local trains chal rahi hain, jo pehle sochna bhi mushkil tha. Unhone Prime Minister Narendra Modi aur Railway Minister ka Agartala-Deoghar express train ko LHB coaches se badalne ke liye dhanyavaad kaha. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ne bataya ki Amrit Bharat Station Scheme ke tahat desh bhar mein 1,318 railway stations ko develop/redevelop kiya jaayega. Isme 1,309 stations ki pehle ki list mein 9 aur stations ko shamil kiya gaya hai. Is plan mein stations ke facilities ko badhaane ke liye master plans ko phase wise implement kiya jaayega. Isme station access, waiting areas, safai, free Wi-Fi aur har station ki jarurat ke hisab se banaye gaye aur amenities shamil hain.
