On Friday morning, people found the mutilated bodies of two young men near gate number 60 at the Khajuri railway crossing between Duddi-Mahuaraiya stations. Police arrived at the scene and identified the deceased as Manoj Jaiswal, resident of ward number three, Duddi, and Farman Khan, resident of ward number four, Duddi. They were friends. Farman worked as a driver for a private agency, while Manoj owned a medical store on Amwar Road. Duddi Kotwali in-charge Nagesh Singh Raghuvanshi stated that both bodies were found near the new railway line between Duddi and Mahuaraiya. They had come from a nearby village after attending a party. Train operations on the new railway line had recently begun. It is possible that they were unaware of the new line and were killed by a train on the line. Manoj's bike was recovered near the scene. An investigation is underway. The bodies were sent to the Duddi CHC for post-mortem.
