Daund was under the jurisdiction of the Solapur division, causing inconvenience for travelers and officials due to the longer distance and administrative complexities. Member of Parliament Supriya Sule, representing the Baramati constituency, had persistently advocated for this change, highlighting the benefits of bringing Daund under the Pune division in terms of proximity, accessibility, and administrative efficiency. This move is expected to benefit thousands of daily commuters, railway staff, and freight operators.

Sule ne is change ke liye bahut effort kiya tha, aur unhone kaha tha ki Daund ko Pune division mein shamil karne se bahut fayda hoga, jaise ki distance kam hoga, access aasaan hoga, aur administration bhi efficient hoga. Ye move thousands of daily commuters, railway staff, aur freight operators ko benefit karega.
