Once fully completed, diesel-powered trains will be replaced with electric ones, increasing the number of trains using electric engines from 276 to 550. The electrification project also involves upgrading the track's speed capacity. Despite the rapid electrification, the shortage of electric engines remains a challenge. The North Western Railway is working to procure more electric engines to ensure a smooth transition.

ka kaam next month tak khatam hone ki ummid hai. Past year mein 806 km railway lines ka electrification kaam pura ho chuka hai. Purana diesel engine se chalne wali trains ki jagah electric engines se chalne wali trains aayengi. Abhi 550 trains mein se 276 trains electric engines se chal rahi hain, aur full electrification hone ke baad ye number badh jaayega. Is project mein track ki speed capacity ko bhi badhaya ja raha hai. Halaanki, electric engines ki kami abhi bhi ek challenge hai, lekin North Western Railway is issue ko solve karne ke liye efforts kar rahi hai.
