at a cost of approximately ₹3 crore. Former Minister Bandhu Tirki, along with several local villagers, witnessed the event. Tirki advocated for the inclusion of Itki station on long-distance train routes and requested the Ministry to include refrigerated bogies on these trains to facilitate the transportation of vegetables by farmers. He expressed gratitude for including Itki station in the ₹41,000 crore project. Earlier, Tirki laid the foundation stone for a level crossing gate. Winners of drawing, painting, essay, and speech competitions organized by the railway department were awarded mementoes and certificates. Villagers also submitted a memorandum to officials regarding other infrastructural demands.
